Between July 21 and August 20, 2026, Colégio Pedro II will open applications for the free professional master’s degree in Basic Education Practices (MPPEB). This graduate program includes two lines of research: Teaching Practice and Continuing Education and Languages and Literacy in Basic Education.
The minimum course load is 360 hours and will require students’ presence in classes, which will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays from 12:30 PM to 6:40 PM. Classes will be held at the Graduate, Research, Extension and Culture Pro-Rectory (PROPGPEC), located on the São Cristóvão campus, at Rua Campo de São Cristóvão, nº 177, Rio de Janeiro – RJ. The master’s degree has a minimum duration of 18 months, and a total of 20 spots will be available to start activities in 2027.

This program is aimed at graduates who work as teachers in Basic Education or in pedagogical coordination roles. Interested individuals must read the notice carefully before applying.
