The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Sertão Pernambucano (IFSertãoPE) informs the opening of 300 free spots for undergraduate courses in the Distance Education (EAD) modality in technology, through the Open University of Brazil System (UAB).
Information about the Courses
Of the available spots, 150 are allocated to the Technology course in Systems Analysis and Development (ADS), which has a duration of two and a half years. The locations where the centers are situated include Afrânio, Cedro, Floresta, Garanhuns, and São José do Egito, all in Pernambuco.
The remaining 150 spots are for the Technology course in Logistics, also with a duration of two years. The centers for this course are located in Afrânio, Floresta, Garanhuns, Petrolina, and Santa Cruz do Capibaribe. Students will participate in online classes and will need to go to the centers for face-to-face activities such as assessments, seminars, and laboratories, which usually take place on Saturdays and/or Sundays.
Registration Process
Those interested can register until August 1, 2026, by accessing the IFSertãoPE website, where the announcement with all relevant information is also available.
The selection of candidates will be based on the average of the High School Academic Record, which considers the subjects of Portuguese and Mathematics from the last year, or by the score obtained in the National High School Exam (Enem). The editions of the Enem conducted in the last five years, covering the period from 2021 to 2025, will be accepted.
