The Capivari campus of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) opened registrations for the free extension course called “Studies for Maturity.” This course is aimed at individuals aged 45 and older, offering a total of 30 spots, with no registration fees or tuition.
About the Course
The course program includes 153 hours of activities, spread over a semester of 17 weeks. Classes take place on campus, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
The content is divided into six thematic areas, approached in an interdisciplinary manner, which include:
- More Movement, More Life – Tuesdays, from 1:30 PM to 2:50 PM;
- Communication and English Language – Tuesdays, from 3:10 PM to 4:30 PM;
- Composting Practices and Garden – Wednesdays, from 1:30 PM to 2:50 PM;
- Board Games – Wednesdays, from 3:10 PM to 4:30 PM;
- Digital World for Maturity – Thursdays, from 1:30 PM to 2:50 PM;
- Flavor and Knowledge: food and good practices for the conscious consumer – Thursdays, from 3:10 PM to 4:30 PM.
Enrollment Instructions
Interested individuals should visit the Extension Coordination (CEx) of IFSP Câmpus Capivari to enroll between July 31 and August 25, 2026, during the hours of 10 AM to 3 PM. The selection of students will be done automatically, in the order of enrollment.
The first class is scheduled for August 11, 2026. Even if classes have already started, enrollment will remain open in the first weeks, ensuring flexibility for new students.
