The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ), located in Niterói, announced the opening of 20 slots for a free specialization course in Service Management, with an expected start in 2027. The approach will be hybrid, totaling a workload of 360 hours.
Course Details
With a period of 18 months, in-person classes will take place on Saturdays, from 8 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 6 pm. The specialization is structured into three semesters, each presenting a series of subjects:
- 1st semester: Contemporary Challenges of Service Management (30h), Business Management and Team Leadership (30h), Social and Labor Psychology (30h), Scientific Methodology (15h), Business Communication (30h), Labor Law (30h), and People Management (30h).
- 2nd semester: Quality Management in Services (30h), Ethics and Reputation Management (30h), New Technologies for Service Management (30h), Services Marketing (30h), Quantitative and Financial Methods Applied to the Service Sector (30h), and Course Completion Work I (15h).
- 3rd semester: Course Completion Work II.
Selection Process
The specialization accepts applications from graduates of institutions duly recognized by the MEC. The registration period will be from August 10 to September 11, 2026. For more details and to register, interested parties should visit the official IFRJ website.
