IFRJ oferta especialização gratuita em Educação de Jovens e Adultos

The Notice 39/2026 was announced by the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro (IFRJ), and offers a free specialization in Education for Young People and Adults with 15 available spots. Scheduled to start in 2027, the course will have a total workload of 360 hours and will be conducted over 18 months.

Course Structure

The specialization will be organized into three semesters, featuring various subjects that cover everything from the principles of education to public policies and interdisciplinary practices. Face-to-face classes will take place on Saturdays, between 8 am and 12 pm, at the Nilópolis Campus, complemented by online activities during the week.

Subjects and Workload

During the first semester, students will study Analysis and Production of Academic-Scientific Texts, Foundations and History of Adult Education, Work and Education, Public Policies for Young People and Adults, and Literacy in Adult Education. The second semester will introduce Conceptions of Learning, Educational Paradigms and Curriculum, Assessment of Learning, Social Movements, as well as Diversity and Inclusion. In the final semester, students will focus on the Development of the Final Paper Project, as well as the development of the Final Paper 1.

Selection Process

The enrollment period for the specialization will take place between August 10 and September 11, 2026, and is aimed at graduates of courses recognized by the MEC. Registration must be done on the official IFRJ website, where the notice will also be available. To participate in the selection process, a fee of R$ 20 is required.
