The IFRJ (Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio de Janeiro) announced the availability of 15 spots for a free specialization in Regional Development and Sustainability, scheduled to start in 2027. This specialization will take place at the Pinheiral Campus and will have a blended format.
Students who have a recognized undergraduate degree by the MEC may apply, provided they meet the participation requirements for asynchronous activities and the in-person classes, which will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 6 pm to 10 pm, as well as events on Saturdays, from 9 am to 1 pm.
The specialization will cover a total of 360 hours over 18 months and will include subjects such as Theories of Development, Theory and Methodology of Research, Ecosystem Restoration, and Urban Development and Sustainability, among others.
The registration period will be from August 10 to September 11, 2026, and interested parties must register through the IFRJ website: online registration.
