The GDF Life Proof application, available for Android and iOS, simplifies the execution of the procedure, eliminating the need to visit a bank branch. The beneficiary must download the application, enter the CPF, and follow step by step the instructions, which include sending photos of documents and a selfie.
Documentation for BRB attendance
For those opting for in-person service at BRB, it is mandatory to present an identification document with a photo, CPF, and updated proof of residence, which should not be older than three months. If the name does not appear on the proof, a residency declaration can be provided.
Consequences of not proving life
Failure to prove life may lead to the suspension of retirement or pension payments. However, this suspension will not happen immediately; first, the beneficiary will be notified and will have 30 days to regularize their situation before payments are cut.
