UEM oferece 400 vagas para especialização em Inteligência Artificial

Recently, the State University of Maringá (UEM) announced the opening of 400 spots for the distance specialization in Applied Artificial Intelligence to Public Administration, with these opportunities equally distributed in the poles of Maringá and Guarapuava, with 200 spots in each location.

Course Details

With a duration of 18 months, the postgraduate program totals 390 hours of class time. Classes are scheduled to start in August 2026 and end in January 2028. During this period, students will study a variety of subjects, such as Introduction to AI Research, Public Policies, Ethics and Compliance in Artificial Intelligence, as well as Machine Learning.

Who Can Apply

The selection is open to effective public servants of the Executive Power of the State of Paraná, as long as they have a higher education degree recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Interested parties have until August 18, 2026, to register.

Registration Process

The registration procedure takes place in two stages. First, candidates must register in the UEM System (SGIPOS), available on the university’s website. Then, it is necessary to fill out a specific form, which can be found on the website of the School of Management of the State of Paraná.

Costs and Obligations

Although there is no enrollment fee, students need to be aware that if they drop out of the course, fail, or leave the service before completing a minimum period of two years after graduation, they will have to reimburse the Public Administration an amount of R$ 5,017.73.
